How I help

Clear diagnosis first. Quotes in writing. No rate card on this site.

Every business is different. I won’t pretend a fixed package fits yours. Here’s the path most people take — starting with something free.

Free visibility check

1. Free visibility check

I check how your business shows up on Google (and a few AI tools), spot the obvious gaps, and email you a short note with what I’d do next. Written only — no obligatory call.

2. Deeper audit

When the free check isn’t enough: competitors, content gaps, brand mentions, and a priority roadmap. Still delivered as a written report you can act on or hand to someone else.

Ask about an audit →

3. Fix and build work

Content, site fixes, schema, or a fuller rebuild — scoped to what you actually need. I’ll quote the work in an email with what’s included and what isn’t.

What “getting found” usually means

Most owners who contact me aren’t asking for “GEO” or “AEO.” They’re asking why the café doesn’t appear on Maps, why the Google listing vanished, or why Search Console shows impressions and the phone stays quiet.

That’s the right place to start. AI answers matter too — but if the basics are broken, polishing for ChatGPT won’t save you.

  • Google Search and Google Maps / Business Profile
  • Whether the website is actually indexed
  • Why clicks don’t match impressions (including AI summaries at the top of Google)
  • Whether AI tools mention you when someone asks for a business like yours

Practical guides on those topics live under Guides. Use them yourself, or ask me to check your situation.

How I write content (so it’s useful to people — and harder for AI to hollow out)

Search engines and AI systems both prefer pages that actually answer the question. I aim for that first. On top of the facts, I add judgement: what I’d skip, what’s overrated, what usually works for a UK small business. That’s the part a summary can’t fully replace.

I don’t bolt on fake FAQ templates or keyword theatre. Structure stays invisible inside normal writing. Every article gets a human pass before it goes live.

About AI summaries and “citation links”

Even if Europe or Google change how AI answers show links, a faint citation is not a booking. I won’t sell you a fantasy where schema alone “gets you into ChatGPT.” We make pages worth citing and worth clicking — and we still care about Maps, listings, and classic Google, because that’s where most customers still start.

How we work together

  • Everything in writing — email for scope, quotes, and decisions. No surprise phone sales.
  • No public prices — I’ll quote based on your site and goals.
  • Clear “what’s not included” — so scope doesn’t quietly expand.
  • Based in Hythe, Kent — working with UK businesses wherever you are.

What I can’t promise

  • Guaranteed rankings or AI mentions
  • That fixing one technical flag will transform traffic overnight
  • Results without clear pages and a business people would actually choose

What I can do is tell you straight what I see, what I’d prioritise, and what it would cost to do the work — so you can decide with your eyes open.
