Why did my Google reviews stop showing?

Reviews were there. Then they weren’t — or the count dropped, or customers say they can’t see what you see. The internet will offer conspiracy theories before breakfast. Most of the time the cause is duller.
I’m not here to frighten you into a reputation-management retainer. I’m here to separate “filter” from “profile on fire.”
Confirm what “stopped showing” means
Be precise:
- Star rating vanished for everyone
- Count dropped by a chunk overnight
- Specific reviews missing
- You see them logged in; strangers don’t
- Reviews tab looks empty but Maps still shows a rating
Each points somewhere slightly different. Screenshot what you see and what a friend sees. Arguments without screenshots go in circles.
